Google Chrome is one of the most popular browser in the world, and it offers various features which makes it a popular choice. One of Chrome good feature is to warn users when they attempt to visit a website which is distributing malware or even hacked. This helps normal user to secure their computer from online hacking and threats, but at the same time this feature could be very annoying for a webmaster like you and me, who is trying to clean up their blog from hacked codes.
Recently I was working on a client hacked WordPress blog which was giving malware error in popular browsers like Chrome and Firefox. Every time I run scans offered by these tools, I couldn’t make them to work. Reason was, Chrome browser was blocking any activity due to its malware detecting technology, and the only way out was to disable the malware detection warning in chrome. In this quick post, I will share how you can do that, and it will be useful when you are working on cleaning a blog which has hacked or malicious codes.

Disabling Chrome - Danger: Malware ahead! messages

This feature can be disabled from accessing chrome settings. Go to Chrome settings and click on show advanced settings to show more options. Under privacy settings, you will see an option for Enable phishing and malware protection, you need to uncheck the box and that’s it. Here is a screenshot for your reference:

That’s it and Chrome will stop showing you Malware ahead message, and if you are the admin, ensure that you clear your browser cache, saved website data and also your website server cache to start working on cleaning your website. This little feature is indeed very useful to safeguard our browsing behaviour, so I suggest you to turn it on after cleaning up your website.
I this will help you.Don't forget to like, share and comment.
