According to Buzz Technology, they want to make controls easier than a joystick.  Nowadays drone have 1megapixel to 2megapixel camera, but they want users to take pictures of a regular camera present on their mobile device which is 8 to 14megapixel. We all have seen small glimpses of Nixie in CES 2015 keynote.
