Window10 make computing easy.

To my windows user friends, today I am going to tell you how windows 10 make our computing easier. Microsoft launched its latest operating system for “FREE” for windows users across the entire globe. And if we talk about figures it’s been downloaded in more than “11 crore” computers. In windows 10 there are some hidden features which make our computing faster and easier. Now we all remember how to take screen shots by keyboard, with the same methods we can record videos of app and screen also. Now you add new apps in your start menu, and now you can also pin your favorite website in start menu like “My computer and MS Word”. Let me tell you more fun facts about windows10; let’s begin:

How to record screen?

Now as I told you before you can record your screen, even when you are playing a game or using any application just like you take screen shots of your PC in previous versions. For example if you are using Gmail application and you want to record what and how are you sending that mail then you just have to press (Windows+6) and a small icon will appear  asking you that do you want to record, then just you have to click on “YES” option. Then a recording bar will appear in lower part of the screen and you are recording. There will be a small icon of “Xbox” on left side of that bar. Try to click it and try for yourself.

How to pin your favorite website in start menu?

Now you can add you favorite shortcuts in start menu in windows 10 like “Recycle bin” or any other application. There is nothing new in that you have to do that in old fashion way that is; first you have to right click on that icon a drop down menu/ pop menu will appear and then click on “pin to start” option present on that list, Boom you pinned your favorite app on start menu, (These instructions are for those who don’t know if you know that try to skip while reading and if you read it then cheers!!). Now for your favorite website you can also pin then to your start menu but with a different way and setting to your browser. As we all know that edge is pretty amazing browser, and if you are ignoring it because of its ancestors then stop ignoring it. For pinning the website or webpage you love just open that in Microsoft edge and there is “three dots” on upper side of the browser click on that there will be that option “pin to start” use it by clicking it, and you are on. Press windows key to confirm.

How to see google search results while using “Cortana”?

This is where the tricky part comes, but doesn’t worry it’s not that much hard you can easily do that if you are nearly familiar with the setting part of your computer and browser. First Cortana is a virtual assistant to give you result what you ask with the help of internet. It is audio enabled so you can search by saying the word, but it uses BING search engine to give results, but they are not good as Google (Yay google!!!). So we want to change that to Google. Here you just have to do this: first download Mozilla Firefox and make that your default browser (don’t worry you can still use edge and chrome). Then make Google you default search engine in that web-browser. Use main pc setting to check it’s done or not if it’s done then try to you Cortana and you will get Google results in place of Bing results. Enjoy!
