As per the last post, Microsoft launched their newest and
better phones, last day in India Microsoft introduced Lumia 950 and Lumia 950
XL. It will be available commercially by the date 11 December 2k15. This device
contain better camera, better processor with processing speed, powerful battery
backup and much more new features. Continuum feature is the feature by which
you can use your smart phone as Desktop.

We all are listening rumors about these smartphone till last
week of September. And the fact with
this launch is; this smart phone is launched primarily in India. This Windows
phone contains Cortana the personal assistant. By which you can search by your
voice. It is very much similar to the google search app but the different
search engine. This is also one of the features which give us the nearby
feeling of our computer.
Those are the things which are software level. Now just peek
in hardware level, because we all want great hardware.
Microsoft Lumia 950 contains QUALCOM snapdragon 808 chipset.
And for us to perform multi-tasking smoothly they have 64 bit cortex A-53processor. Both smartphones contain 3
Gigs of RAM and with 32 Gigs of internal storage. As you will be thinking the
only difference between these is screen size but no; it is also different as
per processing speed and chipset. Lumia 950 XL contains QUALCOM 810 chipset
which is better than Lumia 950 with 2 GHz Cortex A-57. And for the better
graphics support it got Adreno 430 GPU.
Both smart-phones are same in camera quality both can shoot
our videos in 4k resolution with 20 MP rear cameras and you can take clear
selfie with 5 MP front cameras. Both
phones contain F/1.9 camera feature. There are 3 LED RGB flash. As per Lumia
specialty we have a different button for clicking pictures. It also contain
adaptive antenna by which we don’t have to face connectivity problems.
One of the feature that NOKIA always give in their phone
whether it was GSM or Smart, the removable battery we all will get this feature
with this smart phone also. It contains Type-C USB charging port by which you
don’t have to worry about the parallel –ness of the porta and charger or USB
pin. It no doubt increases the transfer speed but company claims to give you
fast charging, by fast charging we will be able to charge our Lumia 950 and 950
XL 50% in just half an hour.
Now let’s get back to some other awesome features.
One drive will play a very important role in this smart
phone. It will help you to sync many documents with other devices “which it
already does”. Windows 10 will upload every photo to cloud and make albums by
itself; I hope their will on and off option for this. But with this feature you
can access same photos with “n” windows devices in same time.
Lumia doesn’t stop till one drive and cloud they give you
Hello Biometric feature by which we can unlock our devices with our faces
(hopefully we can use some of our funny faces for the lock). And as early
stated the Continuum feature with we can use Microsoft Display Dock, which
contain one HDMI and three USB ports. And we can operate our phone with
computer.
As per browsers they have Spartan browser, which is debuting
on Windows 10 platform. It will increase the internet surfing speed by features
given in this browser and there are many other features which will amaze you.
And return of the mighty start button with a twist. In windows 8 we don’t like
that tile view for pcs but in smartphones it was pretty good, so they don’t
remove that but made it customizable.
And now it’s time for overview. So here it is.
Phone will easily connect with pc.
Spartan browser will change your browsing experience.
PowerPoint will work on this device like pc.
