Best Games of Xbox 360

Hello Gamers it is very known that Xbox 360 was a great console for gaming. And we all know that other than hardware the games make the console more attractive, and firstly i but the Xbox one because it was hacked and the CDs were cheaper and on other hand then PS3 was way too more expensive to me and my parents. But as compare to Xbox 360 and PS3, I think PS3 wins. Anyways the main point is games which make Xbox 360 a huge success.

Tekken 6

"It is a very famous game on fighting it contain many fighting styles from all over the globe. This game is actually my favorite one because it is the game which i get to play when i get my Xbox 360. And i think it was the most awesome and amazing fighting game in Xbox 360".

Batman Arkham Asylum

"Regardless of whether you're getting sucked into the Story mode or competing for high scores in the Challenge mode, Batman: Arkham Asylum does an outstanding job of letting you be Batman. Everything about this game--the impressive visuals, stirring soundtrack, superb voice acting, fiendish puzzles, hard-hitting combat--feels like it has been lovingly crafted by a development team that's both knowledgeable and passionate about the source material. Miss out on this one and the joke's on you."

Bayonetta

"Chock-full of often silly but always memorable moments, Bayonetta is hard to get out of your mind even after you've stopped playing it. More than anything else, almost everything about Bayonetta feels just right. Its host of hidden items and secrets, multiple difficulties, competitively balanced scoring system, and charismatic heroine make it a game that will be revisited time and time again. This is one action game that you absolutely must not miss."

BioShock

"While on the surface it might look like little more than a very pretty first-person shooter, BioShock is much, much more than that. Sure, the action is fine, but its primary focus is its story, a sci-fi mystery that manages to feel retro and futuristic at the same time, and its characters, who convey most of the story via radio transmissions and audio logs that you're constantly stumbling upon as you wander around. All of it blends together to form a rich, interesting world that sucks you in right away and won't let go until you've figured out what, exactly, is going on in the undersea city of Rapture."

Braid

"It serves as the contemplative companion to the typical Mario adventure while embracing the unbridled fun found in the best platformers. Clever gameplay mechanics are the driving force, pushing you toward your inevitable confrontation with the woman you've lost, but it's the engrossing story that cements this as something really special."

Call of Duty Black Ops 2

"The campaign hits the same satisfying rhythms, the multiplayer captures the same frenetic intensity, and the cooperative zombies mode delivers the same stale undead-massacring action. Caught between striving for the future and remaining rooted in the past, Black Ops II finds solid footing, providing another great ride on the Call of Duty rollercoaster."

Dark Souls

"Any game can deliver a few cheap scares. It takes a special one to terrify you. Dark Souls is such a game. It's a thoughtful, atmospheric, and mysterious role-playing adventure that challenges your mind and your mettle."

Dead Space

"Dead Space is a remarkable game from a well-tread genre that manages to stand out from its competitors in almost every way, from visual presentation to engaging story, innovative combat mechanics to fright factor. Whether you're looking for a terrifying horror experience or a deeply story-driven adventure that will keep you engaged for 15-20 hours, Dead Space is a fantastic game that you should not pass on."

Dirt 3

"Dirt 3 improves and builds upon its superb predecessor at just about every opportunity. The new multiplayer modes and gymkhana events are great additions, and if you're interested primarily in traditional racing disciplines, it has more than twice as many routes to race in more varied weather conditions and in an even greater selection of vehicles."

Dishonored

"Yet even though it allows you to wipe the recent slate clean, Dishonored still begs to be replayed from the beginning. Unlocking different powers, finishing missions in different ways, striving to be more or less murderous, and seeing a different endgame all offer appealing incentives to give it another go. It's a rare game that feels so compulsively replayable, but Dishonored is such a game."

Fallout 3

"Fallout 3 is leaner and meaner than Bethesda's previous efforts, less expansive but more intense, while still offering immense replay value and quite a few thrills along the way. Whether you're a newcomer to the universe or a Fallout devotee, untold hours of mutated secrets are lurking in the darkest corners of Washington."

Far Cry 3

"Far Cry 3 is a delightful and harsh tropical wonderland, crawling with wildlife and threatened by the pirates and drug runners that disrupt its peace. The troubled paradise you explore is colorful and wild, enticing you to investigate its ravines and discover new ways to enjoy the open-world playground sprawling in front of you. This is a game that ignites the desire to complete every last challenge and check out every last icon on your map."

Forza Motorsport 4

"Like even the very best new cars, Forza 4 doesn't reinvent the wheel, but rather it refines and improves upon what came before it. That's no small achievement given how truly special Forza 3 was."

Gears of War

"In Gears of War, a slab of concrete is your best friend. And if that slab of concrete isn't around, you can always make do with burned-out cars, piles of metal, huge columns, or even the ever-popular wall next to a doorway. Why are these inanimate objects so friendly? Because if you aren't hiding behind something in Gears of War, you might as well be dead. If its exciting campaign doesn't rope you in, chances are the team-based multiplayer will--either way, Gears of War is downright amazing."

Grand Theft Auto V

"GTA V is a complicated and fascinating game, one that fumbles here and there and has an unnecessary strain of misogynistic nastiness running through it. But it also does amazing things no other open-world game has attempted before, using multiple perspectives to put you in the thick of cinematic heist sequences and other exhilarating, multi-layered missions like no open-world game before."

Halo 3

"Plenty of games (have) attempted to duplicate the Halo formula, with varying degrees of success. But there's still nothing quite like the genuine item. Halo 3 is a positively amazing package that offers extreme satisfaction across all of its different parts."

L.A. Noire

"L.A. Noire is a unique game with a terrific sense of period atmosphere, absorbing investigation mechanics, and a haunting tale with plenty of moments that would be right at home in a classic film noir. Those smoky nights spent listening to jazz at the Blue Room, and the price you paid for them, will stay with you long after you've retired your badge and gun."

Mass Effect 2

"Mass Effect's galaxy you want to explore that is populated with characters you are glad to know. Mass Effect 2 is the kind of game that you return to, not just because it's fun to play multiple times, but also because its universe is a place you wish you could call home."

Max Payne 3

"With its gripping narrative, brutal violence, and fantastic implementation of Max Payne's bullet-time ability, this is a distinctive and outstanding game through and through, and it's easily a worthy successor to the Max Payne games that preceded it."

Portal 2

"As you journey through the massive Aperture facility, it becomes clear that Portal 2 does not merely come after Portal. Instead, it radiates outward from its predecessor, simultaneously illuminating the world that gave rise to Portal and continuing the adventure that began there. The sense of novelty is diminished, but the thrill of exploration and puzzle-solving is still intoxicating, and it's amazing how Portal 2 manages to tell a better story with disembodied voices and spherical robots than most games can with full-on humans."

Red Dead Redemption

"This is an outstanding game that tells a great story with memorable and occasionally laugh-out-loud-funny characters. Think about great moments that you remember from spaghetti Western movies, put them all into one 20- to 40-hour epic feature, and picture yourself in the starring role. Now you have some idea of what's waiting for you in Red Dead Redemption."

Rock Band 3

"Rock Band 3 not only introduces new and exciting things to the world of rhythm games, but it does almost everything better than those that have come before it. When it comes to accessible, inventive, and immensely entertaining music video games, nobody does it better than Rock Band 3."

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim doesn't rely on sheer scope to earn its stripes. It isn't just that there's a lot to do: it's that most of it is so good. Whether you're slashing a dragon's wings, raising the dead back to life, or experimenting at the alchemy table, Skyrim performs the most spectacular of enchantments: the one that causes huge chunks of time to vanish before you know it."
And If I missed any one please tell me in comments.

Amazon Presents Fire TV a gaming console for TV

World wide gamers are very well known of the "TV" games. When i was about 7 or 8 my TV contain
built-in  games and they where like "WOW" because they are simple, easily available and there are many things which make them interactive. Then i move on to "TV" gaming consoles which uses chips and contain lots of games in it. I uses controller to play with. But now we all have LED's, LCD's and many other type so the main concept of Amazon is to give you the most playable or even all of the android games. And you can easily play them on TV. But according to our "Tech-History" this plan didn't succesful like Apple TV is a best example Apple TV has dabbled in TV-ready gaming, with AirPlay-connected games on iPhones and iPads. But all were a great failure. So some best thing we can expect  from it is .

1. Cheap :-
Amazon thinks of its price $1.85 for the typical Amazon downloaded game. But here it is not free as per Google play gives us.

2. Small one loving :-
Amazon focuses on the kid which think gaming is interactive. But hey if you want serious gaming then in my opinion there are way too awesome gaming consoles in the market so grab one of them.

3. Looks :-
Check out the looks of this console it is awesome and bonus is the it have a nice looking remote. But it remindes me the new remote of Xbox one.

4. Accepted by our TV :-
In the early the TV consoles work sometime well sometime irritates so we expect that, this TV console will work perfectly.

I hope you like this and as a reminder don't forget to like, tweet share and comment.

Xbox One is top-selling home console in US for December

Alongside NPD US sales data released today, Microsoft issued a statement saying the Xbox one was the top-selling US console for December, selling 908,000 units.
The Xbox 360 came in third place with 643,000 consoles sold, thus leading "last-gen hardware" according to the Microsoft statement. The NPD clarifies that the Nintendo 3DS "topped overall hardware sales for December 2013 and for 2013 as a whole; however, with its $499.99 price point, the Xbox One led annual hardware sales on a dollars basis."
Altogether, Microsoft claimed "50 percent of the combined software, hardware, and accessories spend in the U.S," with $1.39 billion raised between the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Total US consumer spend in December, according to the NPD, was "just under $2.4 billion." The NPD clarifies that, "Xbox One led console sales in December, while PS4’s two-month total makes it the best selling console during the two-month launch window." In total worldwide sales, the PlayStation is also currently outselling the Xbox one with 4.2 PlayStation 4s sold compared to 3 million Xbox Ones. As editor Martin Gaston explores in his editorial, those sales numbers don't tell the whole story.
Nintendo, in addition to the successful performance of the 3DS, also had a positive month for the Wii U. The NPD says, that December was the "highest month for unit sales" so far. Altogether, with positive growth across the industry, December was a bullish month for gaming as a whole.

Xbox One: 20 things you need to know

Hello gamers i have some careful tips about your new purchase of Xbox one. S i hope you will be benefited by these things :-
1. Price and availability
The Xbox One will be released in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, the UK, and the US on November 22. It costs $499 in North America, £429 in the UK, AU$599 in Australia, and 499 euros in the EU countries listed above. The Kinect camera is included; you can't opt out of that peripheral.
2. You'll need an Xbox Live Gold membership ($60/year in the US) to do almost anything beyond play single-player games
Xbox Live Gold was pretty much a requirement for any online Xbox gamer before, but that's even more the case now. Any online services require Gold, from streaming Netflix to game DVR functionality (apps and game recordings are free on the PS4, with only online gaming requiring a PlayStation Plus membership).
3. It plays Blu-rays, DVDs, and (unlike PS4) CDs
The Xbox 360 only had DVD support, and -- briefly, via a peripheral -- HD-DVDs. Blu-ray playback is a pleasant addition. And sorry, lovers of 3D Blu-rays, whoever you are: the Xbox One isn't compatible with you. (There is no 3D Blu-ray compatibility on PS4 at present, either.)
4. It supports limited DLNA...in theory
Microsoft's pushing its SkyDrive account -- Microsoft's own cloud-storage service -- to play back cloud-stored photos and videos, but "Play To" DLNA-supported devices could theoretically work. We haven't tested this yet, but if you're a streaming-media-server type of person, prepare to be a bit disappointed versus what was capable on an Xbox 360.
5. The hard drive is not user replaceable (unlike with the PS4)
The Xbox One comes with a 500GB hard drive, and you're going to have to live with it. Right now, there's no plan to how, exactly, you'll upgrade that storage. The Xbox 360 used to have a proprietary snap-on hard drive; on the One, it lives inside the console. (PS4 owners can self-upgrade with a standard laptop hard drive.)
6. It won't play your old Xbox 360, original Xbox, or Xbox Live Arcade titles (discs or digital)
Bad news for Xbox 360 owners with huge game libraries: the Xbox One won't play your discs. And any downloaded Xbox games that exist on your Xbox Live account won't transfer over, either. It's a fresh start with the Xbox One, whether you like it or not -- but user settings and account details are retained and carried over.
7. Downloaded games can be redownloaded and played anywhere, but disc games need the disc to play
Disc and disc-free games alike need installation on the Xbox One, but if you go the disc route, keep in mind that you'll always need that disc inserted to start the game.
8. The Xbox One doesn't have Bluetooth support
Go figure. Wi-Fi Direct and 802.11n Wi-Fi will help address some device-to-device connections, but for wireless accessories you'll have to use official Xbox options. The PlayStation 4 doesn't work with universal Bluetooth peripherals, either, even though it does have Bluetooth onboard.
9. The Kinect doubles as an IR blaster
For any universal remote control purposes, the Kinect, when set up, will be programmed to operate your TV and cable box. Controls like volume control and channel-changing can be executed using voice, but it can get a little challenging at times.
10. The Xbox One works with universal remotes
Unlike the PS4, which lacks an IR port, the Xbox One can be controlled with a compatible universal remote. That's nice for DVD or Blu-ray playback, for folks who don't want to use the Xbox controller or Kinect voice commands.
11. The Xbox One is bigger than the PlayStation 4
It's not even close. Not only is the One the bulkier console, but it has a very large power brick adapter attached to the power cable; the PlayStation 4 just has a regular thin plug.

12. Xbox SmartGlass is back, and runs on Windows 8, iOS, and Android devices
Microsoft's second-screen SmartGlass app works on a variety of phones, tablets, and PCs, and promises to add media playback controls, in-game second-screen functions, and pop-up information viewing throughout Xbox One. Many iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches, Android 4 devices 7 inches and larger, and Windows 8 phones, tablets, and PCs can connect.
13. Kinect is not required for use, but it certainly helps
A new Kinect comes packed in with every Xbox One, making it a required purchase. It's also meant to be plugged in most of the time. You don't need it plugged in, but any automatic logging in, voice control, and gesture recognition, which is a big part of how the Xbox One works, won't function.

14. It works with cable and satellite TV, but doesn't support DVR control
An HDMI input allows you to run your cable box directly into the Xbox One, feeding it all your TV feeds. The Xbox One has its own searchable menu for TV listings, too, and can change the channel on your cable box, acting on its behalf. But, while you can watch your DVR, you can't use the Xbox One to access your recordings or the menus; for that, you're going to have to use your remote, as usual.
15. Some TVs aren't supported for Kinect
We couldn't get the Xbox One to recognize the Sharp Elite PRO-60X5FD from Gamers Lab, which also meant the Kinect wouldn't learn commands for the set, either. Maybe additional software updates are needed, but this bears watching.
16. Game DVR only records the last five minutes of what you're playing, versus 15 minutes on the PlayStation 4
It's fun to share, but remember that the Xbox One only keeps a continuously recording backlog of the last five minutes, versus 15 minutes on the PS4. But it's easier to share a quick 30-second clip on the Xbox One.
17. Twitch exists as an app for Xbox One...but you can't broadcast using it yet
The PlayStation 4 has the ability to create your own live broadcast of your gameplay for the world to see via Twitch, or watch what others are streaming. The Xbox One has a Twitch app, but it's only for viewing streams: creating your own live stream won't be possible on Xbox until, most likely, early next year.

18. Snap is a multitasker's dream...but some apps don't work for it
Using Snap, you can create a side split-screen of live TV, NFL scores, or whatever else you can think of while playing a game...or, combine apps that involve no gaming whatsoever. Some apps don't support Snap yet, but discovering which do takes some trial and error.
19. Voice control is a mixed bag
Using the Kinect for voice commands shows how many more types of interactions you can do with the Xbox One versus the Xbox 360, but it's not perfect. More often than not you have to repeat yourself, and some TV channels and game titles require exact pronunciation, or are so hard to pronounce that the Xbox One simply won't process it easily.
20. It's always on, for better or worse
The Xbox One encourages you to run your TV and home theater through it, meaning you'll have your Xbox One on even when watching old DVR recordings or when watching a movie. The Xbox, and that Kinect. You might get pop-up Skype calls, or game notifications, right in the middle of a show. Of course, you can always disconnect it from your TV feed, too.

Xbox One will not launch on November 8

Yesterday, a rumour circulated that the as-yet-undated Xbox One may launch on November 8. That information appears to have been incorrect, according to an update by the original reporter, Kotaku.
The previous information--allegedly sourced through a marketing company with close ties to US retailer Walmart--suggested that Microsoft's next-generation console could launch in the first half of the month. A second, unnamed source, reportedly close to the Xbox creator, told the publication that the November 8 date is false, supposedly saying that the date will be later than was originally reported. No specifics were given.
GameSpot contacted Microsoft seeking confirmation, but a spokesperson was unavailable at the time of publication. As mentioned previously, in the absence of any official release details for the system, all dates should be treated as speculation.
Microsoft has so far only confirmed that the Xbox One will launch this November for $499/€499/£429/A$599.

Xbox One Vs PS4

Hello gamers i have the news about new Xbox one and Play station 4. The two best companies are going to launch the new gaming consoles.Sony is going to launch PS4 and Microsoft is going to launch Xbox one. The new series of there older consoles only for those who love gaming with there whole heart.

Microsoft's Xbox One :-
The Xbox One is an upcoming video game console from Microsoft. Announced May 21, 2013, it is the successor to the Xbox 360 and the third console in the Xbox family of consoles. The Xbox One will directly compete with Sony's PlayStation 4 and Nintendo's Wii U, as part of the eighth generation of video game consoles.
The Xbox One uses a two-tone "liquid black" finish; with half finished in a matte grey, and the other in a glossier black. The design of the Xbox One's components were designed to evoke a more entertainment-oriented and simplified design than previous iterations of the console; among other changes, the LED rings used by the Xbox 360 are replaced by a glowing white Xbox logo used to communicate the system's status to the user.
The Xbox One has an APU with eight x86-64 cores, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM with a memory bandwidth of 68.3 GB/s, a 500 GB non-replaceable hard drive, and a Blu-ray Disc optical drive. Three GB of the RAM will be reserved for apps and OS, leaving 5 GB for games. The graphics processing unit (GPU) is based on an AMD GCN architecture with 12 compute units, which have a total of 768 cores, providing a estimated peak theoretical power of 1.23 TFLOPS.
The Xbox One will support 4K resolution (3840×2160) video output and 7.1 surround sound. Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of marketing and strategy for Microsoft, has stated that there is no hardware restriction that would prevent games from running at 4K resolution. The Xbox One will support HDMI 1.4 for both input and output. The Xbox One does not have a video output for either composite video or component video.

Sony's PlayStation 4 :-

The PlayStation 4 is an upcoming video game console from Sony Computer Entertainment. Announced as the successor to the PlayStation 3 during a press conference on February 20, 2013, the PS4 is the second eighth-generation console to be officially confirmed – the first was Nintendo's Wii U. It will also be the fourth home console in Sony's PlayStation series. The PS4 is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2013, and will compete with Nintendo's Wii U and Microsoft's Xbox One.
Moving away from the Cell architecture, the PlayStation 4 will be the first in the Sony series to feature compatibility with the x86-64 instruction set, which is a widely used platform common in many modern PCs. The idea is to make video game development easier on the next-generation console, attracting a broader range of developers. These changes highlight Sony's effort to improve upon the lessons learned during the development, production and release of the PS3. Other notable hardware features of the PS4 include 8 GB of unified memory in the form of high performance GDDR5 and a faster Blu-ray Disc drive.
Among new applications and services, Sony plans to release the PlayStation App, allowing PS4 owners to turn smartphones and tablets into a second screen to enhance gameplay. The company also plans to debut Gaikai, a cloud-based gaming service that hosts downloadable content and games. By incorporating a share button on the new controller and making it possible to view in-game content being streamed live from friends, Sony plans to place more focus on social gameplay as well.
Thank You all the visitors. keep coming for more updates :)

Xbox One

Hello Gamers i have a best news for you that xbox one the next level of Xbox is here.
Similarly to the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One will feature compatibility with the x86-64 instruction set, a Blu-ray Disc drive and 8 GB of unified memory in the form of high performance DDR3.

Lets Talk about the Hardware :-

The Xbox One has an APU with eight x86-64 cores, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM with a memory bandwidth of 68.3 GB/s, a 500 GB non-replaceable hard drive, and a Blu-ray Disc optical drive. Three GB of the RAM will be reserved for apps and OS, leaving 5 GB for games. Thegraphics processing unit (GPU) is based on an AMD GCN architecture with 12 compute units, which have a total of 768 cores, providing a estimated peak theoretical power of 1.23 TFLOPS.

The new version of the Kinect will be included with the Xbox One. The console will not function while the Kinect motion sensing device is disconnected.

And Don't forgot to Ream about New Awesome controller :-
The Xbox One controller maintains the overall layout found in the Xbox 360 design. The directional pad has been changed to a four-way design, and the battery compartment is slimmer. New buttons have replaced the start and back buttons, though their purpose isn't yet known. Each trigger will also feature independent rumble motors called "Impulse Triggers", which allows developers to program directional vibration. One trigger can be made to vibrate when firing a gun, or both can work together to create feedback that indicates the direction of an incoming hit. It remains to be seen exactly how developers will use the new feature, however.
Look the d-pad of the remote its awesome.
Don't forget to comment, like and share.

Play 15 classic consoles with one controller

Project Unity
It's called Project Unity, and it's been the labor of love for the modder known as Bacteria. It's taken three years and 3,500 hours of work, but it's finally done.
Unity houses the original circuit boards from 15 classic consoles, all powered by a single PSU and outputting via a single Scart cable.
Most clever of all is the single master gamepad designed by Bacteria. The controller actually takes a custom-built cartridge, which maps out the control interface for the required system. So, to play a PlayStation 2 game, for example, you plug the PS2 cartridge into the gamepad and it'll behave like the appropriate controller.
The cost to its creator has been roughly $1,069, and the final product has around 98 feet of cables inside and weighs in at about 44 pounds.
Here's the full list of consoles built in:
  • Armstrad GX1000
  • Atari 7800
  • Colecovision
  • Intellivision
  • NEC TurboGrafx X
  • NeoGeo MVS
  • Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)
  • Nintendo GameCube
  • Nintendo 64
  • Sega Dreamcast
  • Sega MegaDrive (Genesis)
  • Sega Master System
  • Sega Saturn
  • Sony PlayStation 2
  • Super Nintendo (SNES)
Bacteria noted that it can actually play games from 18 consoles: the PS2 will play PS1 games, the Atari 7800 will play 2600 games, and the GameCube will play GBA games.
The video below explains its creation, and shows a demo of the system and gamepad.

The best Windows 8 gaming laptops

Hello gamers and blogger today laptop is an essential part of our life that's why we brought some latest and tough laptop series for gaming. i think that these laptops are also suitable for the bloggers also. So have a look on them..
We recently complained about the lack of a single best-case gaming laptop for the Windows 8 era. That was largely because of the handful of portable PCs with higher-end graphics cards we'd reviewed in the six months since Microsoft's new OS took over, none thought to include a touch-screen display. That's a feature not particularly called for in even current-gen PC games, but it's one that Windows 8 practically begs for during the hours when you're not using your laptop for gaming.
Since then, we've finished reviews of a couple more gaming laptops -- again with high-end GPUs but no touch screens -- as well as the Razer Edge, a unique Window 8 tablet/hybrid that offers both modest gaming chops and hardware specifically built around Windows 8.
Even though we're still waiting for a true no-compromise Windows 8 gaming system, many of the high-end laptops and tablets we've tested are still great for games, from the premium performance in the Qosmio X875 to the very reasonably priced Lenovo IdeaPad Y500.

Toshiba Qosmio X875
One of the only 17-inch gaming laptops with a hybrid hard drive, the massive Toshiba Qosmio X875 already stands out from the slim ultrabooks and convertibles we've seen, but it lacks a touch screen. Oddly, our model included 3D glasses, but you can skip that and save a few dollars.

Razer Edge
The Razer Edge is a 10-inch Windows 8 tablet with either a Core i5 or i7 processor, and what it brings to the table are gaming-caliber Nvidia GeForce graphics, and a variety of optional versatile gamer-targeted accessories: a snap-on GamePad Controller, a dock with HDMI-out and extra USB ports for TV connectivity, and even a future laptop/keyboard accessory.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y500
The current version of the Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 is a laptop that's hard not to like. A chunky, 15-inch Windows 8 machine with some real gaming muscle, sharp design, and a funky red-on-black backlit keyboard -- if it only had a touch screen for a frustration-free Windows 8 experience, this might be my favorite laptop of 2013 to date.

Origin PC EON17-SLX
No one puts together custom high-end gaming laptops, including this desktop-busting 17-inch EON17-SLX, better than Origin PC, but the generic-looking off-the-shelf body isn't becoming of a $4,000 laptop, and Windows 8 feels odd without a touch screen.

Sony Vaio E17
If you want a reasonably priced desktop-replacement big-screen laptop with AMD graphics, the Vaio E17 is worth a look. But it's not a good Windows 8 showcase machine, as it lacks any touch interface other than a small touch pad.
